In 1981 I joined Image Finders and stayed with the Agency for 15 years as it evolved to become Tony Stone Images and eventually amalgamated with Getty Images.  I was also represented by Fotopic and supplied these 2 agencies with many of my Stock Photos which were sold worldwide. The highlight of my time as a Vancouver Stock Photographer was working at Expo 86 and being a regular contributor to the Celebration book.  I also worked on the "Share the Flame" book for the Calgary Olympics. Top 3 in the Projections category of the Concord Pacific Photographic and Imaging Contest 2008.

Honorable mention in the International Photography Awards 2014

Large scale resin-coated piece from PI Fine Art, by artist Norm Stelfox.

“Life is about using the whole box of crayons” – RuPaul

When I walked into the gallery to meet my client, this was the first thing that I saw….

WOW.  I was in love….And these aren’t even my “go-to” colours!  I had been under the weather for a couple of days, and this piece made me instantly happy.  Why?  Because colour makes us feel things.  Colour can absolutely set our mood and evoke an emotional state or a reaction.  I’m sure you have used the expression “feeling blue”…that is because certain blues can sometimes be associated with melancholy. ( I’m not sure that I totally 100% agree with that – I tend to find blues very calming and relaxing.) This piece, also having a high-gloss resin coating,  jumped right out at me.  It is bright and happy and joyful.  Red is considered a stimulating colour, and the purple in this piece also has a lot of red in it.

Formally know as the Cascadia Inn, This Mariott Hotel has placed my images in all the suites and in many of the common areas as part of their rebranding process.

One of the company's investments was to rebrand its Cascadia Hotel and Suites on Hornby Street as the Marriott Vancouver Downtown and spend $25 million to renovate the facility, which reopened July 27, as an extended-stay hotel.

One Ski Hill Place in Breckenridge.  This old mining town has been transformed into a very high end skiing resort in Colorado.

Inside, 112 carefully crafted designer hotel suites give you luxurious comforts of home and then some. When you're ready to explore, the area's renowned wineries are just minutes away.

All of the images used in Walnut Beach Resort were taken locally over the span of 6 months in the Osoyoos and Hedley areas.
